Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Play Builder X (the website at playbuilderx.com and the Android app). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The service

Play Builder X lets coaches design plays, build playbooks, call sheets and practice plans, and share them with other coaches. Play Builder X is a subscription service: you need a Basic, Pro or Elite plan to use it, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Features may change over time.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate information and don't share your account with others. Each account has one plan that applies on all your devices.
• You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete account.

Plans, free trials and billing

• Plans — Basic ($4.99/month), Pro ($9.99/month) and Elite ($29.99/month) — are monthly subscriptions bought only through Google Play in the Android app. Prices shown in Google Play, including local currency and taxes, are the prices you pay. We may change prices; Google Play will tell you before a change applies to you.
• 7-day free trial. New subscribers may get a 7-day free trial on any plan. Google Play asks for a payment method when you start, and you are not charged until the trial ends. A Google account that has already used a trial may not be offered another.
• Cancel anytime. Cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions (or from Account → Plans → Manage subscription). If you cancel before the trial ends you won't be charged. If you cancel later, you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
• Changing plans. Upgrading or downgrading replaces your current subscription in Google Play; you are not billed for two plans at once.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, your plan access ends.
• Your plan is tied to your Play Builder X account and unlocks the same features on the website and the Android app. There is no payment or purchase on the website.

Your content

You keep ownership of the plays, playbooks and other content you create. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service, and to show it to people you choose to share it with. You are responsible for your content, including player information you enter (see our Privacy Policy).

Acceptable use

• Don't break the law, attack or probe the service, try to bypass limits or plan restrictions, or use automated means to overload it.
• Don't upload content that is unlawful, infringing or harmful, or enter sensitive personal details about minors.
• The AI Coach (Elite) is limited to football and lacrosse coaching topics and has daily limits. Its answers are generated automatically and may be wrong — use your own coaching judgment, and especially your own judgment on player safety.

Sports safety

Plays and drills are for planning only. We don't supervise your practices or games and aren't responsible for injuries. Follow your league's rules and safety requirements.

Availability and changes

We try to keep the service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep copies of important plays (the app works offline and can print or export playbooks). We may update the app or these terms; if a change is significant we'll tell you. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
