Privacy Policy

Play Builder X (“the app”, “we”) is a play designer and playbook manager for lacrosse and football coaches, available at playbuilderx.com and as an Android app. This policy explains what the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It applies to the website and the Android app.
What we collect

We do not use advertising, advertising IDs, or third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos (other than a team logo you pick), microphone or camera input.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not read your plays or playbooks except as needed to operate, secure and support the service.
Who we share data with
- Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase Hosting, Vertex AI, Google Play Billing, Google Sign-In). These providers process data on our behalf to run the app.
- Other coaches you choose. If you share a playbook or team, or create a view-only play link, the people you share with can see that content (and, for invited coaches, your name and email). You can stop sharing at any time.
- Legal or safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.
Storage and retention
- Your content stays on your device until you delete it. Cloud copies are kept while your account exists.
- If a paid plan ends, your plays are not deleted: they remain on your device and in your cloud copy, but syncing and sharing pause until you resubscribe.
- AI Coach usage records are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Subscription and purchase records, and security audit records, may be kept after account deletion for as long as needed to prevent duplicate billing, resolve disputes and meet legal and accounting obligations. They contain no payment-card data.
- Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored with Google Cloud.
Your choices: access, correction and deletion
- Delete your account and cloud data yourself in the app: Account → Delete account. This deletes your cloud copy, shares, public links and your sign-in account. Plays already on a device stay on that device until you remove them.
- Ask us to delete or export your data by emailing support@playbuilderx.com from the address on your account. We will respond within a reasonable time (generally within 30 days).
- You can edit your name and team details in the app at any time.
- Subscriptions are managed in Google Play → Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription — cancel it in Google Play so you are not billed.
Children
Play Builder X is designed for adult coaches, and accounts are for people aged 18 and over. The app is not directed to children and we do not knowingly create accounts for or collect personal data from children. Because the app is used by youth sports coaches, coaches may type in first names, jersey numbers or positions of the players they coach. Coaches are responsible for entering only what they have the right to enter (for example, with parent or league permission where required) and for not entering sensitive information about minors such as contact details, birthdates or addresses. If you believe a child's personal information has been entered and want it removed, email support@playbuilderx.com and we will delete it.
International users
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries where Google operates. By using the app you understand your data may be processed there.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email.
